FACEBOOK'S 5TH BIRTHDAY!!!

In this article, the author talks about the growing success of Facebook, just 5 years after it was first set up. It says how it recently signed up it's 100 Millionith member and it all started in a dorm room in Harvard University. Because of it's great success, the employees treated themselves to a well deserved bbq in California. It's safe to say that Facebook continues to become one of the most, if not the most popular and famous social networking in the world. The article talks about how versitlie it is for it's users, and they range from the young and old. It's versitility is so complex, it's even been used to reconnect families and long lost family members. But even with all this success, the company refuses to "observe their latest milestone in any significant way". Perhaps it's the current hardship but surely such an achievement should be recognized in a substantial way?

  1. Facebook has taken over the nation! There is not one single person I know that doesn't have a profile regardless of how often they use it. The fact it started in a dorm room is cool - how something small can end becoming a worldwide addiction is impressive!
